Submissions
for 2004 are currently being accepted. The Hard Bargain season
runs from May to October. We perform at the Hard Bargain
Farm Amphitheater located in Accokeek, Maryland. When submitting,
please consider our performance space that is not kind to most
musical theatre, HBP's inclination towards small cast dramas,
comedies, and tragicomedies, and works generally found far from
the BEATEN...to death...path. In recent years, we have produced
works by August Wilson, Kobo Abé, Athol Fugard, Jean-Paul Sartre,
Caryl Churchill, Aristophanes, Beth Henley, Samuel Beckett, Romulus
Linney, Paula Vogel, and Sam Shepard.
